Swiss company DT Swiss acquired German disc brake company Trickstuff. The transaction will be completed in January 2022. Trickstuff, headquartered in Pfaffenweiler, Germany, has 20 years of experience in the brake market. Owner Klauss Liedler will continue to serve as the company's managing director.
DT Swiss stated that Trickstuff will operate as a company with its own brand identity, marketing and product strategy. Trickstuff will benefit from DT Swiss's knowledge in business model development, IT infrastructure integration, supply chain management capabilities, production optimization experience and industrialization; at the same time, it is expected that the two parties will work together to integrate projects. The merger of the cross-company project team started in December 2021 in the field of ERP system integration.
Frank Böckmann, CEO and Chairman of the Board of DT Swiss Group, said: "Over the years, I have established a trusting communication method with Klaus Liedler and learned to appreciate him as a creative and compassionate discussion partner." Böckmann said, In their conversations, they often talked about the prospects of Trickstuff, and they concluded that the merger would benefit the two companies, which is why they decided to integrate the latter into the DT Swiss Group.
Liedler expressed his support for Böckmann's statement and said that the close cooperation will benefit the two companies, and that he is very satisfied with this decision because it brings great opportunities for business and growth. He is determined to continue to carry out complex innovations with their excellent team and bring high-quality, durable and easy-to-maintain brake systems to the market. He said that he looks forward to strengthening exchanges with new colleagues in the group.
